Deep Descent (2017)

Deep Descent is a 20 min long video response to a long term collaborative process with choreographer Jessie Young on her ensemble dance piece titled Descend Sky. Following the long history of art as discourse I came home after a long studio visit with Young and created this expanded video work in response to the involved world of deep sea, the horror of reflection and the impossibility of true direction.

We showed a 3 channel projection of Deep Descent along Young's performance of Descend Sky as part of Fresh Tracks at New York Live Arts in December 2017.
